Platt & Hill produce comprehensive ranges of both spray bonded
and thermally bonded polyester fibre waddings. These have
been developed for use across the spectrum of applications
associated with the manufacture of upholstered furniture,
mattresses, bedding and clothing. The polyester waddings are
supplied in weights ranging from 5Ogm/sqm - 2,600gm/sqm and
are offered in roll, cut pad and `perforated' roll form -
to suit customer requirements.
As long standing licensees of Du Pont, branded waddings produced
from their `Dacron Fibrefil' `Du Pont Quallofil' and `Hollofil/Allerban'
fibres, are also available for the furniture and mattress
markets. Du Pont's high performance Dacron fillings - `Hollofil
1 1' `Thermolite Plus' and `Quallofil' are also offered for
the apparel insulation market.
